Each member can make a suggestion - perhaps there is an facility near you which is of technical, historical, cultural or scientific interest.
Alternatively, a visit to your place of work may attract the attention of other members - or indeed, non-members.
How to organise the event:
(i) Explain to the committee that you plan a visit
(ii) Obtain permission from the organisation or your company representative
(iii) Produce a description of the activity including the date and any limitation in the number of participants.
(iv) The committee will be circulate and post the details on the MFI-eV and IET web pages.
(iv) Carry out the visit. Ask the participents to fill in their details.
(v) Write a synopsis of the how the event went.
